The Aria Hotel Budapest (Budapest, Hungary | Opening March 15)
Located in Budapest, the Aria Hotel is poised to be one of the most elegant hotels opening this year. Built and constructed with a true eye for design, as with other hotels belonging to the Library Hotel Collection, it was crafted with a theme in mind… a tribute to the love and appreciation of music. The music theme will be elegantly and seamlessly included into the atmosphere and overall decor.
The Aria was built within walking and driving distance of incredible sightseeing. Known as the “City of Spas,” guests will no doubt want to visit the stunning Gellert Baths, which feature stunning Cathedral-style architecture… perfect for those seeking to unwind in style.
The hotel is already accepting reservations and accepting a bonus incentive offer for guests who are ready to book their stays from March 2015 through March 2016.
Suiran (Kyoto, Japan | Spring 2015)
STARWOOD Hotels & Resorts Worldwide is launching its first Luxury Collection brand property in Japan with Suiran, a ryokan-style property that was built and decorated to give its guest the impression that they’re staying in a traditional Japanese inn. With just 39 rooms, the luxurious property is poised to tantalize with an authentic Japanese feel. Guests will undoubtedly want to explore the culture and architecture that has been carefully preserved in Kyoto, home of 17 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, for all who want to appreciate its history. For those seeking a notable and memorable place, the Fushimi Inari Shrine’s iconic entryway will be recognizable to fans of the motion picture, Memoirs of a Geisha.
The Gainsborough Bath Spa (Bath, United Kingdom | Spring 2015)
Restored from a building constructed in 1820, this hotel is the only source to access the natural thermal waters in this old-world English city. An excavation in 1864 beneath the then-Royal United Hospital revealed several rooms belonging to an ancient Roman spa complex that included the remains of an intricate Roman mosaic dating back to the 4th century. It remains preserved beneath an exact replica within the spa.
The hotel is also in the area of the Gainsborough Old Hall, which is an almost perfectly preserved and intact medieval manor. This restored historical landmark was built with only the utmost of relaxation in mind. It will feature full spa facilities and the famed thermal waters will be of use in guest rooms as well. Filled with robust history and charm, the Gainsborough looks like an incredibly promising gem.
